One More Frames & Flowers

One more Frames & Flowers card for you. This one is super simple! From the lack of response to yesterday’s fun fold card, I’m guessing some of you prefer the easier cards to make! This one is for you!

simply took one of the frames that comes in the Frames & Flowers DSP pack and decided to pair it with Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock.

Here are the layers:
  • Pretty Peacock Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Lost Lagoon Cardstock, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″
  • Basic White Cardstock, 1-1/4″x 3-1/2″
    • Stamp “Sending Hugs” from Layering Leaves in Pretty Peacock in the center and glue it down to the center of the Lost Lagoon Layer.
  • Frames & Flowers Punch Out
    • Glue this, centered, over the Lost Lagoon and sentiment banner after punching out the center piece.

I had a flower left over from another project that I love with this color palette. It’s from Transluscent Florals and stamped with Bubble Bath. I stamped the stamen with Pebbled Path and gave it some sparkle with Wink of Stella. It is adhered with Dimensionals.

Three Transparent Adhesive Backed Gems finish it off.

Does this one meet your crafting needs a little better? It certainly went together quickly. If you don’t have the Transluscent Florals Bundle, you could embellish it with another of the punch-outs that come with the DSP. If you haven’t purchased this DSP yet, click HERE to take a closer look. You can also find it in the Annual Catalog on page 29. I think you’ll love it!

Love this. Sometimes a “simpler” type of card ends up being just the right card. You can embelish as much as you feel necessary. This is just perfect!

  2. This card is such a great idea! This paper pack can be used in so many ways, thank you for sharing!
