On Stage Make & Takes and Sneak Peeks

When you go to OnStage, there are always several Make & Takes that you get to put together with a table group. These are (in my short experience) always showcasing new products that are about to be released. These products will be available to the public in January of 2019 in our Occasions Catalog.

We had four Make & Takes in Orlando last week, and one “Take & Make” that we brought home to do. Here are mine, along with some Product Boards that were there for inspiration ~

Our first M&T was a Mini Pizza Box using the upcoming Classic Garage Suite. This is a fun, masculine set that has lots of auto/garage inspired images. Here is the inspiration board ~

Next, we made a sweet, feminine card using the upcoming products from the Needlepoint Nook Suite ~

I love the “stitching” in this framelit die. Here is the inspiration board for Needlepoint Nook ~

Do you see that Old Olive Baker’s Twine? It is actually Old Olive Linen Thread! Same texture as our current Linen Thread, but with the Olive color. It’s going to be a hit!

Next, we made a card using the soon-to-be-released Valentine Suite, called All My Love ~

The stamps are DistINKtive and include lots of flowers and hearts. Really pretty! Here is the Board ~

There are two stamp sets and two sets of framelits in this one, as well as gorgeous ribbon and fun heart-shaped epoxy drops.

Our last Make & Take is from the Happiness Blooms Suite. We stamped the background with tone-on-tone Night of Navy and added several fun elements to the card ~

The colors in this Suite are vibrant and several are our newest In Colors. Here is the Board ~

I have to say, because of the lighting in the room and my less-than-awesome camera, the colors on these boards don’t show as bright as they are in person. Wait till you see them! They are fantastic!

Here are three more Inspiration Boards. We did not have M&T’s for them, but you will want to see them anyway ~

How Sweet It Is is all about candy jars and birthday treats. There is a reversible ribbon that I love with Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green. Fun and fresh!

Gingham Gala might be my favorite! We were given a pack of the 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper. The colors are perfect for Spring and the butterflies are so much fun!

The last Inspiration Board showcased Floral Romance. And just like the name sounds, it is soft and pretty. Pinks and greens that remind me of my own wedding. Just lovely!

So that shows you a bit more of our OnStage experience. I will be sharing some of my Pals swap cards and other OnStage gifts that we received with you later in the week, so stay tuned “for the rest of the story!”

Have a great day!

  1. How fun! I am looking forward to the car – for men and boy get well cards it is so easy to just add “hope you will be as fine tuned as this car” or something similar. Or for a B-day card hoping you age as well as this car. I had some cool old car cut outs that the scrap book store had when I first moved here and she had used her printer and made some little frames for them so they looked really cool. Gingham in pastel colors, ahhh. Lots of fun stuff. Love your showing the T&M too. Sounds like you had a great time.

    • Great ideas, Chris! This will be a great set for those who want to make masculine cards and gifts. And yes, we had a great time!

  2. Hi Ka, Love all the photos. I think this is a great catalog and I can’t wait until I can place an order.
    Have a blessed day.
