I honestly don’t think there could be anything sweeter than the images on the Moon Baby stamp set!
There have been a number of babies born lately. I made this one and one other for little boys, and I’ll make another one in pink for a girl. The baby girl’s name is Primrose! So it must be a pink card! I wonder if I still have Stampin’ Up!’s Primrose Pink in my cabinet…I’ll bet I do!
There isn’t much to explain on this card. I’ve made three layers – Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, and Soft Sky, which I ran through the Big Shot with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder (retired).
I stamped the baby image onto Watercolor Paper with Basic Black Archival ink, then colored it with my Aqua Painters. Then I cut it out with the largest Stitched Shapes Circle Framelit.
White Baker’s Twine is wrapped around the top two layers and tied off to the side. I used Dimensionals to lift up the painted circle, then punched a small star out of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and adhered it with a Mini Dimensional.
On the inside I stamped the image of animals twice and colored them with my Blender Pen and ink pads. The sentiment is two stamps that I mounted on one block and stamped together. A quick sparkle of Wink of Stella on the trio of stars both inside and out adds to the shimmer.
A bit of retired polka dot Soft Sky paper finishes off the envelope, and it’s ready to go! Sweet dreams, little one!
