Yay, it’s another Friday Fun Fold! I made this card from Jeanie Stark’s Mystery Stampin’ on Monday. The arm swings out to the right and the card opens to the left. Well, take a look…

Here’s the front:

I stamped “snow” using a stamp from Branching Out and Pool Party ink, stamping off once. Isn’t that fun?
Here’s what I used:
- Real Red Cardstock
- Basic White Cardstock
- Pool Party Cardstock
- North Pole Delivery DSP
- Stylish Shapes circle Dies
- Spotlight on Nature Dies
- Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad
- Pool Party ink pad
- Loads of Cheer Stamp Set (retired SU)
- Celebrate With Tags Stamp Set (retired SU)
- Branching Out Stamp Set
You can get all of the measurements and directions for the basic card on Jeanie’s PDF by clicking HERE.
My Focal Piece:
- Crop three circles using Stylish Shapes Dies, 2-1/2″ diameter ~ one with Pool Party Cardstock, one with North Pole Delivery DSP, and one with Basic White Cardstock.
- Glue the DSP circle to the Pool Party circle.
- Cut the Basic white circle a little less than half with a slight wavy cut to look like a snow bank.
- Stamp sentiment at the bottom of the white half-circle and glue it to the DSP side of the circle.
- Glue this to the Real Red “arm”, centering the circle to the card front.
- Fussy cut a mail truck from North Pole Delivery DSP and glue to the front of the circle. Back it with white cardstock before cutting if you want extra stability.
- Flip it over and glue the Spotlight on Nature circle, 2-1/8″ diameter, over the “arm” seam, centered in the larger Pool Party circle.
- Add punched out shapes from North Pole Delivery DSP.
What awesome cards will you make using this layout?
Have a creative weekend!

How fun! I think my mail man might like this. I have made this card before and started to try it for her challenge as I needed a birthday card. Well, I was going to use the retiring birthday paper. I was cutting the cardstock and got up to get something. In less than a minute the sleeping basset woke up spied the cutter and cardstock pieces. Chewed the cardstock and slobbered on the trimmer. What a mess. I chucked the cardstock and slobbered pieces and just got out of the hollyhock kit cards and finished that up real fast. I used that kit at the nursing home last week. The ladies loved making the cards. So, since I made the card, I quickly addressed it and put a stamp on it. I grabbed his leash and we walked to the post office. At least I got a card made and sent. Honestly, I hope he grows out this paper fixation as well as the ribbons etc so I can make cards again. So many cards I want to CASE of yours.
The dog on your card driving sort of looks like Bernie and I think our mailman will love it. He looks forward to seeing Bernie and gives him belly rubs. Your card is just so cute.
