Nature Walk (for CSF 909)

This week we are using a sketch for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge. I had fun creating a masculine birthday card with Nature Walk DSP.

Here’s our Sketch:

And here’s my card:

simply said, words of beauty dies, petals of beauty dies, exposed brick 3d embossing folder, csf 909, masculine birthday card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

I love all the different shades of green in this paper and the beige pairs so nicely with it!

Here’s my recipe:
  • Mossy Meadow Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Mossy Meadow layer embossed with Exposed Brick Embossing Folder, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
  • Nature Walk DSP, beige check, 5-1/2″x 1-1/2″
  • Nature Walk DSP, marbled dark green, 4-1/2″x 2″
  • Nature Walk DSP, beige and Olive, 3-1/2″x 2″
  • Basic Beige circle from Stylish Shapes Dies, 2-1/2″ diameter
  • Mossy Meadow leaf branch from Petals of Beauty Dies, 3-1/4″x 2″ before die cutting
  • Old Olive Cardstock for sentiment from Words of Beauty Dies, 3-1/4″x 1/2″
    • “Happy Birthday” from Simply Said, stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder
  • Old Olive Baker’s Twine bow
  • Three Neutral Matte Dots in beige

simply said, words of beauty dies, petals of beauty dies, exposed brick 3d embossing folder, csf 909, masculine birthday card idea, stampin up, karen hallam

I’m not sure why this photo makes the DSP look pink! It is not pink. The accurate color is in the first photo above.

  1. So pretty! I love greens. Our next door neighbor asked us if we bought our house to go with our car and Mike’s pick up. I looked puzzled and it just dawned on me (at that time) the house is a dark green as our vehicles just happened to be. Love all the patterns and texture. Also, a great sketch.
