Natural Botanicals (for CSF 877)

Hi there! Today at Create with Stamping Friends we are CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) the Catalog on page 114. This is an interesting layout that I may not have noticed if not for this challenge. The feature stamp set is Natural Botanicals. And it includes heat embossing on foil! Can you do that? Yes! I am not sure I’ve tried that before, but it turned out beautifully!

Here’s the challenge:

And here’s my card:

It’s a pretty close copy of the layout. Instead of Strawberry Slush I used Secret Sea. And instead of using a brayer to color onto Wood Textured Specialty Paper, I embossed cardstock with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder. When you like the look of a featured card but don’t have all the components, you just improvise!

  • Add three Secret Sea 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls.

  1. I have a sister in law who loves purple and leaves. I will enjoy making her a card based on yours using the 6 x 6 Gorgeous Grape or Highland Heather. Thanks for your inspiration and the catalogs as well.

  2. Thank you for the beautiful card! I like this card more ‘lighter’ and I will make one
