My Favorite Things for the Pals’ December Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is “My Favorite Things.” The Design Team will be showcasing their favorite products from any of the current products and you might even see some sneak peeks, as well! We really hope that you enjoy and will be inspired by them! As you hop from blog to blog, don’t forget to leave comments because we love hearing from you. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Step-by-Step Directions
  • Position the middle-sized label die from Hippo & Friends Dies on the DSP and run it through a die-cutting machine. Save the cutout piece for another project.
  • Adhere the DSP panel to the Gold Foil Sheet using Stampin’ Seal.
  • Add Dimensionals to the back of the foil sheet and adhere the layers to the card base.
  • Stamp “HELLO” from Biggest Wish on Basic White Cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink. Let it dry thoroughly (or help it along with your Heat Tool!)
  • Next stamp the “friend” from Biggest Wish below and slightly overlapping “HELLO” with Versamark Ink. Sprinkle gold emboss powder over the Versamark, then heat set it with your Heat Tool.
  • Place the Gold Foil leaf cut-out where you want it to sit on your card, arranging it over the cut-out hole in the DSP. No need to glue down.
  • Add Dimensionals to the back of the white label and adhere it over the cut-out hole on the DSP. The Gold Foil from underneath will peek out when you look at it from the side.

  • Add the Garden Gems to the front.
  • Stamp the inside with the sentiment from Positive Thoughts and Shaded Spruce ink. Stamp the inky swoosh from Artistically Inked and Mint Macaron ink. Add the flowers with Versamark and emboss with gold powder and a Heat Tool.
