Mountain Air

Yes! Another camping trailer card! 🙂 This time the trailer is in the mountain air, viewing the sunrise from its sweet little camping spot in the trees.

This is the first time I’ve inked up Mountain Air! I know that’s hard to believe, since this is not a new stamp set in the catalog. Now that I know how awesome its images are, it will come out of the cabinet more often!

I’m really getting my money’s worth out of these Tree Lot Dies (which is funny because I didn’t pay for them – they were free!) This little camping trailer is so cute. See the last time I used it by clicking HERE. You will see more from these dies very soon, as they will be available to earn from the Sale-a-bration brochure beginning July 1st.

Make This Card
  • Stamp the mountains using Sahara Sand across a 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″ panel of Basic White Cardstock.
  • Stamp the treeline underneath the mountains with Evening Evergreen ink.
  • Mask the mountains by stamping the same image onto Masking Paper, cut it out, and cover the mountains with the matching masked image.
  • With Blending brushes create the sky with Highland Heather, Pacific Point, and Night of Navy using a light hand. Remove the Masking Paper.
  • Add some birds in the air.
  • Next brush/blend below the treeline with Soft Succulent and Sahara Sand.
  • Hand tear one edge of Crumb Cake, 5-1/2″x 1″, and glue along the bottom of the card.
  • Stamp and crop the tree images with Evening Evergreen and matching dies. Glue them to the sides of the card, slipping the trunks under the Crumb Cake “ground.”
  • Build the camping trailer as desired and attach with Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the inside with the appropriate stamps. I used ones from Let’s Set Sail, (retired) Lemon Zest, and (retired) Lovely As A Tree.

Here’s a bigger look at Mountain Air. You can see it includes the trees and the birds.

  1. Wonderful creation! Love it!

  2. Oh my this card is beautiful! I love the look of the trailer. What did you use to get that wood grain look on the Top and bottom strip accents on the trailer?

    • Thanks, Deedee! I used a piece from last year’s Beauty of the Earth DSP. Other options would be In Good Taste – it had lots of wood grains.

  3. I haven’t inked my stamp set either, but you have given me inspiration to do so as soon as I get my Tree Lot stamp set and dies. I have to wait until July to order them.
