Mosaic Mood Fun Fold

I’ve used Mosaic Mood DSP in a fun fold card today. I got the card layout idea from Canadian Demonstrator, Suzanne Netz.

The Terracotta Tile tile pattern is made of bits of shiny paper so It really shines in the light. It’s so pretty! I cut a 2-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece and layered it over Terracotta Tile cardstock that measures 3″ x 5-1/2″.

The fun fold is an easy prep. You start with an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of cardstock (like a normal A2 card), score it at 4-1/4″ and then again at 2-1/8″. Fold the 4-1/4″ score line as you would any card, then fold back the other way at the 2-1/8″ score line. With the card folded closed, glue the Terracotta Tile piece just to the left side of the front. That’s it!

Stamp the inside. I used a sentiment from Gather Together with the flower from Hold Onto Hope. I stamped the flower in Petal Pink and colored the stem and leaf with a Pool Party Marker.

The Finishing Touches

To finish the front, crop a Terracotta Tile circle with Layering Circle Dies (it’s about 2-3/8″) and a Whisper White circle with Stitched Shapes. It’s about 1-7/8″. Stamp the inside of the circle with an encouraging sentiment. This one is from Label Me Pretty. Next, cut a hummingbird from the Mosaic Mood DSP and adhere it with Dimensionals. Last, add a couple of Crushed Curry rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Pack.
