Moon Baby is dropping in to say “Hi!”

Stampin Up Moon Baby Card Idea Painted With Love Designer Series Paper -Karen Hallam stampinup
Hello Baby!
This little sweetie is dropping in to say “Hi!” She is comfy-cozy in her Rich Razzleberry onesie! She is surrounded by all these cute hearts from Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. Even her umbrella is stylin’ with a print from the same paper!
A close up shows the shine from the foil accents on this gorgeous paper ~
To make this card, I began with a Berry Burst card base measuring 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ to create a side fold card. I glued a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Painted With Love Specialty DSP on top of the base.
Next I stamped the baby image onto Whisper White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Stampin’ Blends. I used Rich Razzleberry for her onesie and Ivory for her skin.
TIP:  Always use Memento water-based ink to stamp your image before coloring with Blends. These markers are alcohol-based and the Memento Black won’t run when you use these two together!
I stamped the umbrella on a scrap of a coordinating piece of DSP and cut it out right on the black line to piece the umbrella over the stamped image. This technique is called “paper piecing.”
I cropped the baby image out with the largest scalloped oval framelit, glued it over a Berry Burst oval cut with the largest of the oval framelits, and popped it up onto the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Three heart enamel shapes add another touch of shine.
