Modern Christmas (for CSF893)

Tomorrow is Halloween. I’m guessing that you are all done with your Halloween cards, so I’m moving on to Christmas! 😁 Today we have a sketch to provide us with inspiration, and I’ve used products from the Modern Christmas suite to build my card.

Here’s My Recipe:

• Basic Black Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
• Modern Christmas DSP, Gold Foil Stripe, 5-1/2″ wide x 3-1/2″ tall
• Gold Foil Sheet, cut into 2 strips, 5-1/2″ long and 1/2″ wide
  • Adhere the striped DSP to the Gold Foil strips, top and bottom, leaving 1/4″ showing.
• Basic White Cardstock, 3 rectangles measuring 3-1/8″ tall x 1-3/8″ wide
  • Stamp the tree from Ornamental Christmas Stamp Set onto each rectangle using black ink.
  • Adhere these to the card front using Dimensionals.
• Gold Foil strip for sentiment, 4″x 1/2″
  • Stamp sentiment from Ornamental Christmas onto the gold strip with black ink.
  • Word of Caution! Ink takes time to dry on foil! I left mine for about 15 minutes and it still smudged, so let it sit!
• Gold Foil stars cropped from Ornamental Christmas Dies
• Twine bow made with Black & White & Gold Baker’s Twine
