I used a silver Mini Gable Box, Tropical Escape DSP, and a Cake Soiree sentiment to make a pretty little gift box today.
This sweet box goes together in a jiff with Stampin’ Up!’s pre-cut and scored Gable Boxes. They come in your choice of Silver or Lustrous White. You get 12 boxes in a package and they are food safe, so perfect for little edible treats!
I dressed it up with Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper. The two long sides of the paper measure 3-7/8″ x 1-7/8″, and the two ends measure 1-7/8″ x 1-7/8″. Each 6″ x 6″ sheet of this DSP makes one and one-half boxes. Here is the DSP:
To decorate, I wrapped the box with a 24″ length of Smoky Slate Ribbon (this particular one has retired). I fussy cut one of the large palm fronds from another piece of the DSP and added a Shaded Spruce sprig cropped with Pretty Pines Thinlits, then tucked them in with Glue Dots.
For the sentiment, I used two Layering Framelit Dies – a Silver Foil scalloped circle and a Whisper White circle on the inside, plus a Blushing Bride circle punched with a 1-1/4″ Circle Punch in the middle. The white circle was stamped in Granny Apple Green with a greeting from Cake Soiree.
