Merry Mistletoe Card and Treat Box Set

Last week I posted directions to a cute little treat box (see that post here) and promised you a card to go with it. And here it is! I changed the reindeer up a little, as you will see, so it isn’t too matchy matchy, but it would be just as cute if it did match.
I used the Merry Mistletoe stamp set and the coordinating Be Merry Designer Series Paper along with (retired) Perfect Pines Framelits and a sprig from Pretty Pines Thinlits.
I simply layered Whisper White and the Cherry DSP onto a base of Early Espresso, and cut a little hill out of the white DSP. I stamped the reindeer in Early Espresso onto Whisper White and fussy cut around it. I layered the Garden Green tree with White and glued it to the background. I popped the reindeer up using Mini Dimensionals (I love how these fit into tiny spaces!) and I double cut the Layering Oval for the sentiment and used Dimensionals between the layers. I added the tiniest bit of sparkle using Stickles glitter glue (non-SU) on the tree and reindeer sprig.
This angle gives you an idea of the dimension. And on the inside, I decided to keep it simple ~
And here is the complete set with the treat box ~
I hope you like my card and treat box set! It’s so hard to imagine Christmas when it is 109 degrees outside! Yes, we are melting (thank goodness for low humidity in California!) This is a good activity to keep me indoors and out of the heat!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing! Hi to my friends in Thailand this week!! I know you are having a fabulous trip!
Stay cool ~
