Merriest Moments for the Pals November Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!

This month, the theme is Home for the Holidays, so the design team created a project for the holiday of their choice. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

My favorite holiday is the one we spend together! So I’ve made a card that could be used for a variety of winter holidays ~ whichever one you want to use it for! I used a couple different sets, some heat embossing, and some ink blending.

Here’s my card ~

Step-by-Step:
  1. On the white cardstock, stamp the greeting from Merriest Moments in Evening Evergreen.
  2. Create a circle mask and cover the greeting.
  3. Using Versamark and gold embossing powder, stamp and heat emboss the speckled stamp in Merriest Moments around the greeting.
  4. Next, with a Blender Brush, add Soft Succulent ink around the circle, over the gold “snow”. Remove the circle mask.
  5. Cut a small hill from a piece of White Glimmer Paper 1-3/4″ long and 3/4″ high. Cut it so 1/2″ fits on the right bottom corner and 1-1/4″ fits on the left bottom corner. Glue in place.
  6. Cut the house using the Gingerbread Dies and Evening Evergreen Cardstock. Add Gold Foil windows and door, and a White Glimmer snowy roof. Position and glue the house between the 2 snow banks, matching the bottom of the house with the bottom of the white cardstock panel.
  7. Cut 2 Evergreen trees from the Gingerbread Dies and add them to the left of the house on the snow bank.
  8. Glue this finished panel to the Lights Aglow DSP, then glue that to the card base.

I hope you get to celebrate your favorite holiday with ones that you love! Because, really, together is the merriest place to be!
