Masterfully Made

Sometimes the simplest cards bring me the most pleasure! This card is a great example. It went together in literally 10 minutes! But this Masterfully Made DSP gives the illusion of something much more complicated. Take a look:

Quick Steps:

• Cut a piece of your favorite DSP to 5″x 3-3/4″.
• Now trim off 1″ from the bottom of that piece and set it aside.
• To the piece left over trim 1″ off the left side.
• Go back to the bottom 1″ piece and trim 1″ off the right side.
• Place the cut up pieces back in the right order. Glue them to a cardstock base cut to 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at the top at 5-1/2″. Leave 1/8″ space around all sides and between each piece.
• Stamp a sentiment on Basic White Cardstock, approximately 4″x 2″, and tear around all four edges. Glue it toward the left side of the card front.
• Add sequins to compliment or match.    Done!

• Night of Navy Cardstock
• Basic White Cardstock
• Masterfully Made DSP
• Courage & Faith Stamp Set
• Night of Navy ink
• Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio (Pretty Peacock)
