Every once in a while, I make a card that I enjoy so much – I just want to make more! But more of the same isn’t always what I have in mind. Then when I switch the DSP and the sentiment but keep the same layout, it feels like a whole new card. Here’s the “new” card.
And here’s the “old” card. You can read about it HERE.
By changing the Designer Series Paper and using a new base color, it takes on a brand new look! Then instead of a butterfly, I cut an Adirondack chair using Seasonal Layers Dies. The sentiment from Butterfly Gala is stamped onto Vellum with Blueberry Bushel ink, and the frosty glass of lemonade is part of the Colorful Seasons stamp set and Seasonal Layers Dies – the perfect all-season stamp set!
We’re heading into a busy week! My grandson is coming to visit. We’ve got plans to take him camping, paddleboarding, a football game, swimming, and no doubt shopping! He’s an active 13 year old. Hope we can keep up!! If I’m mysteriously absent this next week, you’ll know why! See you at the other end of the week! I’ve got new products from the Holiday Catalog to share with you. Sept. 4 is the big launch date so mark your calendars set your phones! It’s a good one!
Have a great weekend!

Great cards. Love the blue. Have fun with your grandson. I would have no idea of what to do with a 13 year old boy.
Lol! As long as you keep them active and well fed, they are great!
Karen, I love this card. Blue is my favorite color. I see these chairs all around in a rainbow of colors now. Enjoy your week with your grandson.
Have a blessed day.
Thank you, Nancy! It was so much fun spending some time with you in MD! I’m glad we got to meet in person, and I hope we get to do it again!
