Love What You Do ~ A Sneak Peek

Love What You Do, Naturally Eclectic DSP, Layering Ovals Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, thank you card, stampin up, Karen Hallam, stampinup

Do you love what you do? I love crafting and making cards with Stampin’ Up! products, like this new stamp set called Love What You Do. It will be available as an early release item on May 1st.

It will be available as an a la carte item or within three different bundle choices for you! See the products that will be featured in this exciting early release offer by clicking HERE.

Since I don’t have the beautiful Designer Series Paper that coordinates with it yet, I’ve built a card using the retiring Naturally Eclectic DSP. This DSP has been a favorite of mine with its jewel-tone colors. Grab some now before it’s gone!

I’ve also used a retiring in-color for my base – Emerald Envy. I stamped the flower stems with Emerald Envy onto the largest of the Stitched Shapes oval and highlighted the flowers with another stamp using Lemon Lime Twist. The thank you stamp comes in one long stamp but it didn’t fit in my space so I did a little surgery on it and divided the “thank” from the “you”. I used to be afraid to do this, but I’m wondering why I was nervous – the photopolymer cuts easily and now I have a much more versatile stamp!

I wrapped Emerald Envy crinkled seam binding around the three layers of card and tied a bow on the far left side.

I layered the Stitched oval on top of the largest of the Layering Ovals framelits with Dimensionals. and glued it to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Three Rhinestone Jewels add a little bling to the flowers. A very simple card, but the paper makes it so pretty!

Another beauty!! I would get frustrated too when the sentiment I wanted to use wouldn’t fit. Great solution!

  3. Oh Beautiful card. I love these colors. I finally cut a photopolymer stamp last week. It was candles with a sentiment on the bottom. I only wanted the candles! It did come out great.
