Today is for Gina K! Every once in awhile I like to join in on some other manufacturers’ card challenges, and today is one of those days. Gina K is someone I greatly admire and she puts out beautiful products. I found a July card challenge on her blog: black and white with a pop of color. Challenge on ~ with her stamp set, Love and Kindness!
Love and Kindness has a variety of tropical leaves and flowers. First I stamped some of the tropical leaves around a panel of 5″x 3-3/4″ Basic White Cardstock. My pop of color is the butterfly in Polished Pink and a few scattered pink jewels. I layered it on a 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″ Polished Pink Cardstock, then glued that to a Basic Black base.
My sub-sentiments are heat embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock and adhered with Mini Black Dimensionals.

Hadn’t thought of black and white with a pop of color for a long time. It is something I find pleasing. And, I just saw my tropical leaves stamps yesterday. Never been used. I never thought of them for black and white.
Get them out and get them inky! Now you have a new idea to try 🙂
