Less is More – or – More is More?

I started this card with the “Less is More” challenge in mind. This week they are challenging people to make a one layer card with a monogram.

I started off well, with my initials inside a Stitched Whimsey die-cut space. Next I made a mask to cover over the initials and whimsey area and stamped some flowers and leaves from the Pretty Perennials Stamp Set. So far, so good. Then I went off-track when I put it over a Basic Black layer and mounted it on a Thick Basic White base. If that wasn’t enough to disqualify me, I had to add some silver sequins and Black Matte Dots around it. I simply couldn’t help myself! Lol! That’s when “More is More” I guess, and I forgot the challenge. So, I’m sharing it with you anyway and will try another challenge next time. 🙂
