Leaves of a Different Color for PPA 265

Who says leaves have to be green?  or orange, red, and yellow!  I have used unconventional colors in this card and I love the combination of Island Indigo, Smoky Slate, and Tuxedo Black.
My design inspiration came from this week’s Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge.  Here’s the sketch:

I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set along with the Leaflets Framelits.  You know what I’m going to say…Bundle and Save 15%!

“thinking of you” came from the Sheltering Tree stamp set.  I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black on a strip of Vellum and clipped the end with my Hexagon Punch.  I tied a bow with some black ribbon that I had on hand and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

Don’t forget to make a comment on yesterday’s post (see it HERE) and qualify to win a sheet of Regals Candy Dots.  They are perfect for all the upcoming fall-colored cards you’re going to make!  Tomorrow at noon PDT I will pick a winner!

I’ll be back tomorrow with Weekly Deals and more!  Tomorrow is the day you can begin purchasing from the Holiday Catalog!  Until then ~
Happy Stamping!
