Layers of Beauty Wedding Card

Want a soft, ethereal wedding card for the beautiful wedding couple? Barely Blush with white embossed vellum might be just right! This would also be a pretty bridal shower card. It’s my Layers of Beauty wedding card.

I was inspired by this week’s Tic Tac Toe Challenge #292. And I happen to be attending a wedding this summer! This card will be perfect!

Here’s the challenge board:

My card fits all the directions on this board. I have a little bit of everything on it!

Products used:

• Barely Blush Cardstock
• Vellum Cardstock
• Ribbon, a 1/4″ white organza
• Pattern of Friendship Die
• Endless Love Dies
• Layers of Beauty Stamp Set and Dies
• Extraordinary Flora Stamp Set
• Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Instructions:

• Cut Barely Blush Cardstock to 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, fold at 4-1/4″.
• Cut another piece of Barely Blush at 5-1/4″x 4″. Add texture with Pattern of Friendship Die (retired) or another embossing folder. Glue to the base.
• Stamp large floral stamp from Layers of Beauty onto Vellum Cardstock using Versamark Ink. Sprinkle it with white embossing powder and heat set. Crop with coordinating die. Add small amounts of adhesive to the back of the vellum around the edges and glue to the card front.
• Stamp the sentiment from Extraordinary Flora Stamp Set with Versamark onto Barely Blush Cardstock. Heat set with white embossing powder. Crop with die from Endless Love. Adhere to the front with Dimensionals.
• Cut strips of ribbon to the desired length and adhere them to the bottom of the sentiment strip as shown.
• Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to cover the ribbon hole.
• Glue a 5-1/4″x 4″ piece of Basic White to the inside of the card.
• Decorate the envelope flap with Barely Blush Painted Patterns DSP.
