Layers of Beauty

This week I am going to attempt to enter each card I make into a challenge of one kind or another! These challenges provide a great jumping-off point if you are stuck in the creative process. They give you focus and a place to start. I’m going to start today with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge this week, created by my good friend, Rosanne Mulhern! I picked the left to right diagonal row with Dry Embossing/Stenciling/Embellished Envelope and used the perfect bundle collection to make it: Layers of Beauty.

Here is the challenge board:

Here’s my card:

I made something very similar for a Card Swap that I joined recently. The stenciling was fun and very easy with the numbered Decorative Masks that come with the set. Here’s the whole Bundle, so you can see what I’m talking about ~

I glued everything flat to the card except the sentiment, which was added with Mini Dimensionals. Here is a photo that shows more of the envelope:

What a pretty and easy way to dress up an envelope!

I received “Designer’s Choice” for my card!
