I’ve Been Quilting!

Quilting has never been easier than this! With the Quilt Builder Framelits Dies, you can use any cardstock and Designer Series Paper to make a quilted card for any occasion.

My color choices were inspired by this pretty green Designer Series Paper called Painted Autumn.
My base card, quilt frame, and friend die cut are made from Old Olive cardstock. The top layer and white quilt sections are Very Vanilla. The light green quilt pieces are Lemon Lime Twist.
The Old Olive swirly cutout in the center was cropped with a thinlit die from Sunshine Wishes. I also used a Glitter Enamel Dot in the center. Do you love the way these greens go together?
I cropped “friend” from the Lovely Words Thinlits and stamped that cute little branch of leaves from Carols of Christmas! The leaves are Lemon Lime Twist. I drew the Chocolate Chip stem and the Cherry Cobbler dots with my Stampin’ Write Markers.
Another awesome by-product to this is that I have enough quilt cutouts to make three more cards that will be similar but different!
This set of framelits come bundled with the Christmas Quilt Stamp Set, which will be so fun to create Christmas cards with. But for now, I wanted more of a summer/fall card. Oh so versatile! And I love that 🙂  Want to see more? Check out this video by Stampin’ Up!
