Introducing Magenta Madness! We have a new In Color that is, ummm…shall I say bright?! It’s called Magenta Madness and I love it! It is not your mama’s baby pink.

This card design is in response to a card challenge over at CAS. It’s their Sketch Challenge #372. Here is the sketch:
Card Details
I decided to use a lot of texture on this card, since there is so much “white” space. I began by embossing the front panel (5-1/4″x 4″) with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. Then I cut a rectangle (3″x 1-1/2″) of Whisper White and ran that through the new Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
To get the black texture on it I set it on my Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad and lightly tapped it. I love how it turned out! Next I cut a scalloped square from the Magenta In Color 6″x 6″ DSP. I glued those on the front panel and topped it off with a Whisper White/Magenta/Black Magnolia from the Magnolia Memory Dies.
A tiny black “Thank you” from Label Me Bold lifted up with Dimensionals creates a visual triangle with the blacks. This front panel is also lifted up from the card base. Instead of using 1,000 Dimensionals (yes, an exaggeration) I used a rectangle of craft foam and it gave it a good stable foundation.
