We are CASEing the Catalog during the month of July at Create With Connie & Mary. Here is the catalog sample that we are taking inspiration from this week. I went with the same stamp set, In The Moment.
My Slightly Altered Design:
- I started with a base of Night of Navy, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″.
- Next I glued a piece of navy Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the front, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″.
- To that I glued down two more pieces of Delightfully Eclectic DSP. These are 3-1/4″ squares with the back one turned at an angle.
- For the art piece, I stamped the young woman from In The Moment with Memento Tuxedo Black to a piece of Basic White. Then I cropped it with the 2-3/4″ square Stylish Shapes Die.
- I partially colored her. To the shirt, Bubble Bath Blends and to the skirt, Night of Navy Blends. I colored the railing with Pecan Pie Blends, and the wine with Berry Burst.
- For her hat, I paper pieced it by stamping it again with Tuxedo Black onto a coordinating scrap of Delightfully Eclectic. I fussy cut it with my Paper Snips, and glued it over the first image of her hat.
- To another Stylish Shapes Die, the 2-1/8″ circle, I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy, popped it up with Dimensionals and adhered it to the front.
- To finish it off, I added a bow of Night of Navy twine (color white twine with a Navy Blends marker!)
