Last month I posted a note card that I made with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits. See it HERE. I made another for today’s post, with the same basic layout and the thinlit of 5 connecting dragonflies. Here is my card ~
I used the Sale-A-Bration Designer Series Paper called In The Lines. It is free with a purchase of $50 until March 31st. (whoa, that deadline is coming this week!) I layered it onto a piece of Basic Black and wrapped a length of Blushing Bride satin ribbon around the middle. Then I glued the panel to a 5″ x 3-1/2″ base card of Blushing Bride.
Next I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Blooms in Basic Black onto Whisper White, cropped it with a Stitched Oval Framelit and backed it with a scalloped layer of Basic Black. I attached it to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut the dragonflies from Basic Black, glued it to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue just in the bodies of the dragonflies, and trimmed out the two that overlapped the edges of the card.
I covered the back flap of a Whisper White envelope (from the Note Card & Envelope pack) with the Blushing Bride polka dot from the Subtles DSP Stack. It is so great to have these stacks that match any of the papers that Stampin’ Up makes!
If you purchase the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle (an automatic 10% discount), item # 144728 for $46.75 and the Blushing Bride 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon, item #141692 for $9.00, you will qualify for a free SAB item and can choose In The Lines DSP, #143830, if you like it!
Sale-A-Bration ends on March 31st – this Thursday! So take advantage of this annual promotion and get some FREE products while you can. A few of the items have sold out. Here is a helpful chart for you to use ~
