You’ll leave with inspirational ideas, and maybe a few new must-haves on your wishlist!
Although Strawberry Slush isn’t totally new (it was also an In Color in 2013-15), it is making a return with our new 2025-27 line up of In Colors. And it’s a favorite of mine! I’m so glad to see it back. I’ve created a corner fold card that shows the backside of the DSP as well as the front! And I have a peek-a-boo surprise with a new embossing folder peeking out of the corner opening.
Here’s my card:
Here’s my recipe:
- Strawberry Slush Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Strawberry Slush sheet from 2025-27 In Color 6″x 6″ DSP, 5″x 3-3/4″, with top right corner folded down so 1″ at the top left is showing
- Basic White, 3″x 3″, embossed with Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder (Gardens), and glued to the top right corner under the DSP
- Impressions Abloom Dies, Strawberry Slush flower with a Basic White center
- Strawberry Slush Faux Linen Ribbon, 7″, criss-crossed and glued under the flower
- The sentiment,”hello,” from Sweet Blooms, stamped to the front of the card with Secret Sea ink
- In Color Flat Pearls, Strawberry Slush
On the inside:
- Basic White, 5-1/4″x 4″
- DSP 4″x 1/2″ across bottom
I couldn’t totally play favorites with our new In Colors, so I made one of each color, Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Secret Sea, and Timid Tiger ~
But I think the Strawberry is still my secret favorite! Shhh! ☺️ Do you have a favorite?
There’s a whole lineup of great inspiration waiting for you! Scroll down to hop through the rest of the Blog Hop Team’s creations and fill your crafty cup. And don’t miss next month’s theme: My Favorites in the New Catalog — because you know we’ve already picked our must-haves!

What pretty cards, Karen! You showcased our new colors perfectly! Thanks for joining the blog hop this month.
Very pretty card in all colors.
Swoon, I am in love with everything about this card! Strawberry slush is my favorite but all are really great. I have tons of that type of DSP. I think my nursing home seniors will get lots of these in a multitude of colors.oh my mind is spinning with what I could use for EF for the corner to go with different patterns, i.e. dots or stripes. Of course the floral is the best! Well done.
Great design to show off the colors, Karen! Love the embossed corner!
Awesome layout and great way to show all these colors!
Lovely cards I like you like the strawberry slush best. Color really pops
