I’m CASEing the Catty for Watch It Wednesday!

I was most intrigued with the gorgeous cards on the cover of the 2017-18 Annual Catalog, and thought I would try one for myself. These colors are so bright and vibrant ~ I’m loving the eclectic color combo in this suite.
With just a few minor changes, here is how I made my card ~
Night of Navy base 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
     Naturally Eclectic DSP 5″ x 3-3/4″
     Whisper White panel 4″ x 2-1/4″
First I wrapped Emerald Envy 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding around the DSP layer and secured it to the back with Fast Fuse. Then I added Soft Sky thick Bakers Twine that I had from a previous catalog.  I attached the DSP layer to the card base with more Fast Fuse.
Stamping ~ On the 2-1/4″ panel I stamped images from Oh So Eclectic in Emerald Envy, Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Sky, and Berry Burst. For the top flower, I inked the flower only onto another white scrap with Berry Burst ink, then added Emerald Envy with my Stampin’ Write Marker to the stem. I used a Blender Pen to pull a little of the color from each part onto the white areas, cropped it out with Eclectic Layers Thinlits, and attached it to the card with Dimensionals.
For the sentiment, I used the Happy Birthday, Gorgeous stamp set and stamped it with Night of Navy and punched it out with the Pretty Label Punch. That is also lifted up with Dimensionals. Three scattered rhinestones complete the front.
On the inside, I continued to use the Happy Birthday, Gorgeous stamp set with Navy, Emerald, and Berry ink pads.
