Hoppin’ Into Spring! March Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for March
2016. We are thankful you stopped by to take a look at our new 2016 Blog
Hop monthly themes.  This month we are featuring Spring and Spring
related projects. We hope you enjoy our creations.
You may just be starting the Blog Hop or
may have come from the previous link from the Line-up on the Pals Blog
Hop listing shown below.  The full lineup will help you move along from
blog to blog so you may see all the projects.

I chose to make an Easter card for this month’s Hop. I love this sentiment from Suite Sayings.  I stamped it with Garden Green, framed it out with Ovals Framelits #4 and 5 in Daffodil Delight, and surrounded it with  Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper.

The flower and palm fronds are from the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.  Purchase the Stamp Set, DSP, and Framelits Dies in a Bundle and save 15%.  It is an amazing set!

The butterflies are from the Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly Punches.  I layered the front onto Daffodil Delight and a base card of Garden Green.  Dimensionals were my friend here, behind the DSP layer, the flower, and the butterfly.

I wanted to add a little fun, so I made these Jelly Belly “carrots” to compliment the card…

They are a little tricky to photograph because they don’t stand up.  I tried sitting it up in a glass ~

I tried photographing them separately ~

And then I just took off one tag and photographed it with the card ~

Well anyway, you get the idea!  These super cute Polka Dot Cone Cellophane Bags are easy to overlook in the catalog.  They are on page 23 of the Occasions 2016 Catalog, and are perfect for little Easter treats.  Cute, right?

You will see a list of everything I used on these projects down below the Blog Hop Line-up. I hope you will enjoy the March Pals Blog Hop.  I’m looking forward to seeing all of the fun projects!

Thanks for visiting. To continue with the hop, please refer to the Blog
Hop Line-up below. We hope to see you on next month’s Pals Blog Hop!

I’m heading down to Phoenix to watch our Oakland A’s at Spring Training!  I’ll be back to blogging next week.  See you then!
