Hey Sports Fan! Specifically, baseball fan! Here is a pack of designer paper that you are going to love. The patterns all have a vintage vibe, and the images are all old-time baseball. So fun!
The card I made for today’s post was inspired by Create With Connie and Mary Challenge #697. Here is a look at the sketch ~
Today is my first challenge as a Thursday design team member for CCMC and I’m thrilled to be part of this dynamic team!
I looked at this sketch and Hey Sports Fan! DSP seemed like a natural choice for these shapes. My card has NO stamping! Quite unusual for me, but the paper does all the heavy lifting — no sentiment stamp required!
My Measurements:
- Night of Navy Card Base, 11″x 4-1/4″, scored and folded at 5-1/2″
- Navy Woodgrain print from Hey Sports Fan DSP, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
- Vanilla/Navy print with catcher’s gear images, 4-3/4″x 2″
- “Play Ball!” cut directly from DSP, 2-1/4″x 1-3/4″
- Night of Navy Cardstock strip, 3-1/2″x 7/8″, corners rounded
- Baseball stitching strip, 3-1/4″x 3/4″, corners rounded
- “Admit One” ticket cut directly from DSP, 3/4″x 7/8″
On the inside panel of Very Vanilla, I glued a 3/4″ strip of the baseball stitching and a sliver of Poppy Parade above it.
Three Resin Stars give that fun pop of personality. They are part of the Hey Sports Fan Suite and you can find the entire collection on pages 68 -69 of the new January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. I’m a Fan!
