Hello Lovely CASE (CSF 878)

I’m not sure a card could be more feminine than this one with “Hello Lovely” and Florals in Bloom DSP! Hi! It’s Thursday and another Create with Stamping Friends. We are on our third week of CASEing the Catalog. Today we are working with this pretty card for a Hello Lovely CASE on page 40.

Here’s our Challenge:

And here is my card:

While it’s a slightly different color combination, I stayed pretty true to the original. I’m loving the pinks and purples of this season!

My Recipe:
  • Thick Basic White Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Florals in Bloom DSP, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock for banner, 3-1/2″x 2-1/4″, right end flagged
  • Basic White Cardstock for flowers, 5″x 4″
  • Bubble Bath Cardstock for flower detail die, 5″x 1-1/2″
  • Fresh Freesia Cardstock for “lovely” die, 4″x 3″
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock for wide leaves, 4″x 1″
  • Garden Green Cardstock for thin leaves, 6″x 2″
Directions:
  • To make the flowers, sponge some Bubble Bath ink onto white cardstock, then crop the two flowers out with Pretty Florals Dies.
  • Crop the detail dies for flowers from Pretty Florals Dies with Bubble Bath Cardstock and glue over the large flowers.
  • With a Fresh Freesia Blends Marker, add the color detail to the center of each flower.
  • Glue the DSP to the front of the card base, then glue the white banner about 1-3/4″ from the left side and center of front.
  • Stamp “hello” from Sweet Blooms in Fresh Freesia on the banner.
  • Arrange the greenery from Pretty Florals Dies and secure down with Dimensionals that will also adhere down the flowers.
  • Crop “lovely” from Sweet Blooms Dies in Fresh Freesia and position with the “l” over one flower, and the rest angled up as shown, and glue down.
  • Add three Fresh Freesia dots to finish off.
