I’m still working on Christmas cards! How about you? Do you have yours done yet? I never mass-produce my cards for Christmas. I make individual cards for individual people. Yes, it takes way more time, but that way I get to play with all of my holiday sets, like this one called Happy Holly-Days ~
Honestly I put off making a card with this bird because I knew I’d want to color it. But it didn’t take that long and it was fun to work the markers. I think you could also get a beautiful result from just stamping him with a neutral color and leaving him without the additional coloring.
I used a die from Hippo & Friends to crop around him and create a label. The DSP is Tidings of Christmas. I stamped the holly with Evening Evergreen and colored it with the dark Just Jade and dark Cherry Cobbler Blends before fussy cutting them out.
Here’s a look at this cute set ~

I too make individual cards for family & friends. I always hear the “meaning” of getting a homemade card. Makes the effort worthwhile
Yes, it sure does! I totally agree with you, Patty!
I love that u make a card for an individual! Your card is beautiful, love your coloring on the bird.
Thanks, Karen! I see every card as a personal gift to its recipient. I know it’s not the most efficient way, but to me it’s way more fun that way!
