Happy Autumn

This adorable little owlet wants to wish you a “Happy Autumn!” Sweet Days of Autumn DSP makes a perfect background for him to perch on the sentiment.

As I was looking at this paper, I was wondering what color the background is. It’s not white. It’s not vanilla. Then it hit me ~ it’s Petal Pink. Very subtle, but that’s it! So I used Petal Pink for the base and colored a bit of the bird with it as well.

Here’s the Recipe:
  • Petal Pink Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
  • Early Espresso layers behind the two pieces of DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″, and 4-3/8″x 3-1/8″
  • Sweet Days of Autumn DSP, 5-1/8″x 3-7/8″, and 4-1/4″x 3″
  • Very Vanilla for stamping the sentiments from Choose Happy and the owlet from Bird’s Eye View
  • Early Espresso ink pad for stamping and Blends for coloring: Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, and Daffodil Delight
  • 3 Faux Glass Dots
  • Linen Thread

  1. So fun. Good grief, I start a lot of my comments with that don’t I? I loved those little birds and have not used them for a long time. This just makes me smile. Great job on the mats. Who wouldn’t want to receive this cute card?
