Halloween Z Fold Fun

I think I’ve mentioned that I enjoy making little scenes with my stamping products.  When I saw this card by Linda Heller, I was on it right away!

This was such a fun card to make, but definitely not the quick and easy card that I’ve been showing lately.  This one is more of a labor of love, but I have a very special little guy that I’ll be sending it to, so worth the effort!

I started with some new products from the 2016 Holiday Catalog:  Spooky Fun photopolymer stamp set and Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies.  You can get these in a bundle and save 10%.  I also used some Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper.

This front panel looks stamped but it is one of the sheets from the Halloween DSP.  It provided the color palette for the rest of the card.
To make this card you start with a piece of cardstock that is 11″ x 4 1/4″, score it at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″. Fold it in half, then fold the front piece back to create a Z shape.
I stamped the front greeting with Old Olive, and the inside pop-up greeting in Pumpkin Pie.
The rest of the card was made using the stamps and framelits/edgelits.  I made the moon shimmer with clear Wink of Stella.
On the back I added a little pocket for a treat.  It also provides me a place to sign the card.  Such spooky fun!
Go have some fun stamping!

  1. Great Card Karen!!! I can see why you wanted to CASE it. I want to also!

    • Thanks, Ramsey! Isn't it fun? If you get a chance to see Linda's card, she used Pumpkin Pie Glimmer paper for the moon and a witch instead of a bat.

    • Karen, I can't find Linda Heller's card!!! I love the Pumpkin Pie Glimmer paper and am always looking for ideas!

    • It was one she made in Stamping School. It's a members-only site that she sells for $35/year. It has videos for cards and/or projects that post each Sunday. Very worth the $. I love her work. Caution: You'll want to buy everything that she uses on her cards!!! Google Stamping School and you'll find it.

    • Ah, I did see her school. I have heard it is wonderful. I think I have everything there is to buy from the holiday catty. What is another $35! 😆☺️ Thanks! I will look into it!
