Halloween Treats using Paper Pumpkin (and a sneak peek!)

When I got last month’s Paper Pumpkin, I thought there would be a very good chance that I would use the little boxes for Halloween Treats, and here are my first two to show you!
Once I purchased the Spooky Fun Stamp Set with the coordinating Designer Series Paper and matching Baker’s Twine, it all came together for me.  You can purchase these products on Sept. 1st in the new Holiday Catalog.
This stamp set is so fun.  Jack-O-Lanterns, bats, spiders, ghosts, witches, and tombstones ~ and I love the greetings and fonts that go with it.  You can even purchase it with Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies in a bundle and save 10% on the set.
The DSP is called Halloween Night Specialty DSP.  It’s black, white, and Pumpkin Pie, with a couple of sheets with a special metallic design.  The Baker’s Twine is Pumpkin Pie/Basic Black and Basic Gray/Basic Black twisted together.
Since the boxes have copper dots and flecks, I decided to stamp this “bootiful treat” stamp with Versamark ink and heat emboss it with Copper Embossing Powder.  The copper and white Washi Tape comes in the Affectionately Yours Suite.  I fit a couple of these Mini Twix into each box 🙂
Won’t these make fun little Halloween treats for someone?  I will be creating more tags with the rest of the stamps in the set as well.
Are you a Paper Pumpkin subscriber?  If you haven’t tried it yet, we are having a BOGO sale right now.  Yep, buy one mont/get one month free.  And with the holidays coming up, there are always some really cute projects in the Paper Pumpkin kits.  Now would be a good time to try it out.
If you aren’t familiar with Paper Pumpkin, it is a monthly crafting kit that comes to you in the mail.  It is all-inclusive.  Everything you need will be supplied (with the exception of scissors) ~ ink, stamps, adhesives, paper, embellishments — it’s all in there.  You can make the projects as their directions guide you, or you can use the materials in your own creative ways.  There are always many alternative ideas posted on the internet.  The kits run $19.95/month.  You can subscribe for as many months as you want and you can cancel it at any time.  Give it a try!  There is nothing to lose!  You even get a clear mounting block for the stamps in your first kit.  Check it all out at paperpumpkin.com and give it a whirl.
Have a great day.  Go stamp something fun!
