Grateful with Lovely Blossoms

This new Lovely Blossoms DSP has two sheets of “pictures” you can cut out and use for a simple, quick, and easy card. I showed you my first card with this DSP on Friday last week. If you missed it, you can see it HERE. Stampin’ Up! has been adding these multi-cut-out designs in their Designer Series Papers for a while now. I do enjoy being able to cut, mat, and glue it together. So easy! And the paper is so pretty! This is my Grateful with Lovely Blossoms card.

The sheet I cut this card front from is on the top left. You can see how easy it is to cut and have an instant card front!

Recipe:

• Make a card base with Secret Sea Cardstock, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2.”
• For a mat, cut Old Olive Cardstock, 5″x 3-3/4.”
• Trim out the Lovely Blossoms DSP “picture” of choice and trim to 4-7/8″x 3-5/8.”
  • Before gluing the DSP and Olive mat to the card base, wrap Old Olive Baker’s Twine around the middle and tie in a bow. Then glue these pieces to the card base.
• Create the sentiment piece with Secret Sea Cardstock and Everyday Arches Dies.
  • Stamp the sentiment from Layers of Beauty onto Secret Sea Cardstock, 2-1/2″x 1-1/2″, with Versamark Ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder, and set with a Heat Tool. Crop the sentiment out using the smallest of the Everyday Arches Dies. It measures approximately 2-1/4″x 1.” Adhere to card front with Mini Dimensionals. (Tip: leave a “groove” where the twine will be to avoid a lumpy sentiment!)
• Add some 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls.
• To the inside, glue Basic White Cardstock, 5-1/4″x 4″.
