Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. I want to take a moment to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! Like many of you, I’ll be in the kitchen, pulling together a feast for our extended family. It’s always a joyful time, getting together with family and friends. Today, on Thanksgiving Eve, I thought I’d take you on a walk back with me. Here are some cards that show gratitude and thanksgiving throughout my blogging years!
I’m starting in the year 2015:
This must have been one of my first Pals Blog Hop cards! I used the Happy Forest Friends set, and as you can see, it was before “stitched” dies came out because I drew my stitches on there with a Stampin’ Write Marker! OK, I’m thankful for Stitched Dies!!
2016
This card was titled Basket of Thankfulness and the DSP was a wild Moroccan print that I was quite enamored with!
2017
The year of the crate! Do you remember it? I enjoyed making lots of cute gifties with this crate die. I can’t fine the original post to share with you.
Let’s move on to 2018 ~
I loved Country Home! The milk can with it’s flowers and labels – so cute! And speaking of milk cans…
2019
In 2019 my card also used the Country Home milk can. This card can be linked back to the original, although not the whole post. But it has a parade of more Thanksgiving cards on it, if you want to see more!
2020
What a tough year. But all the more reason to be thankful for what we have, including our health and loved ones. I heat embossed the sentiment with Copper Embossing Powder onto Copper Foil Sheet for this one and the result was stunning.
2021
Notice the stitching on the dies? Yay! Ah, classic fall card.
2022
Such a simple card, yet I love the contrast between the neutrals. This CAS card really pleases my eye!
2023
A fun fold you may want to check out!
And 2024…
…we’ve caught up! You may have seen this one recently:
And as most of the cards convey, I am very thankful and grateful for all of you – many of my personal friends, and some I’ve never met – but love receiving comments from! Perhaps we’ll have an opportunity to meet in the future. Have a Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your day!
