On Friday I showed you an ultra “girlie” valentine, with flowers, hearts, and pastel colors. Today I have a more manly valentine! Well it still has hearts and even a touch of pink in it, but the airplane makes it seem a little more masculine to me…..
I got this layout from Linda Heller at Stamping School, and added my own color scheme from some new papers out of the 2016 Occasions catalog. Both the Bermuda Bay and the hearts papers are from the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack. You get 48 sheets, 4 each of 12 double-sided designs in 6″ x 6″ squares. I love these small paper stacks because you get so many designs to choose from and the pack is an affordable $8.00!
The stamp set I used is free. Yep! It’s from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and you get to choose it as a free gift when you order $50.00 worth of products from Stampin’ Up! This one is called Sky Is The Limit and it is a goodie. Birthday, Congratulations, Valentine’s – good for so many occasions. It is only available through February 15 however, so if you like it, get it now!
On the inside, I added my own valentine greeting, then stamped the airplane smoke in a soft Smoky Slate and added a tiny Bermuda heart from the scrap I had left over.
