God’s Peace

There is a little stamp set that sits about halfway through the Holiday Catalog (page 28) that doesn’t have any special recognition…no matching dies…no special embellishments or ribbon…just these beautiful sentiments surrounding a candle arrangement that caught my eye. It’s called God’s Peace.

Here’s a look at the whole set.

Simple. Beautiful. Perfectly Christmas.

To make my card, I started by stamping the candle image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, then colored it with my Blends markers. I trimmed around the edges, leaving a little border, then put Dimensionals behind it.

With another piece of Whisper White cardstock, I cropped a Stitched Rectangle, then stamped the sentiment on it in black.

Wink of Stella gives the candles their “glow.”

I layered that with Dimensionals over a piece of Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP and glued it to a Mossy Meadow base. Three Holiday Rhinestones added a bit more shine.

Tip: Crop the center out of the Brightly Gleaming DSP with another slightly smaller Stitched Rectangle. You will have that piece to use on another card, and nobody will miss it from this card!
