Gilded Wings

I bought these Gilded Wings Accents quite a while ago… and realized today that I’ve never even taken them out of their package! Time to fix that! So I made this green and gold butterfly card that I am quite happy with.

It’s a very simple design that is easily replicated. Here’s what I used:

• Peaceful Pine Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″
• Basic White Cardstock, 4-3/4″x 3-1/2″
  • From the center of this, crop out a banner from Party Banners Dies, 2-1/4″x 3″.
• 2026-28 In Color Gingham Gallery in Peaceful Pine, 4-5/8″x 3-3/8″
• Peaceful Pine Cardstock, 2-1/8″x 1-1/4″, for top of banner
• Gingham Gallery, Peaceful Pine (smaller plaid), 1-7/8″x 1″ for top of banner
• Gilded Wings Accents, various sized butterflies
• In Color Dots, Golden Glow

For the sentiment, I chose All Aflutter, and stamped it with Peaceful Pine ink on the lower half of the banner. I added the banner to the card front with Dimensionals. I gently lifted the wings of the butterflies and glued the bodies to the card. These will flatten in the mail, but can be zhuzhed up afterward (I love that word! and this is how Google told me to spell it, lol!!!)
