Gift Card Holders for CASEing Coast to Coast

Yay, it’s time for CASEing Coast to Coast with Rosanne Mulhern again! Each month she and I pick a “theme” and take turns CASEing each other’s projects. If you are new to stamping, to CASE means to Copy And Selectively Edit another’s work. Rosanne lives in Pennsylvania and I’m in California ~ thus “CASEing Coast to Coast!” This month it’s her turn to select a theme and post her idea first. She has selected Gift Card Holders for our projects today. Here is her project ~

As soft and pretty as Rosanne’s card is, mine is more “ka-pow!” It’s bright and kind of flashy! I did CASE the fact that it’s a gift card holder, and I used Blushing Bride, and it’s a fun fold. However… well, take a look ~

Yes, that’s where the similarities end! I found this model of gift card holder when I was perusing the internet, and I just had to give it a try. The middle part of the card opens up in a Z-Fold to display the gift card and lots of pretty paper.

Materials & Measurements

• Polished Pink Cardstock base: 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
• Whimsy & Wonder DSP, holographic stripe: 5-1/4″x 4″
• Mint Macaron layer: 4-1/2″x 3-1/2″
• Blushing Bride Z-Fold: 9-3/4″x 4-1/4″, scored and folded at 3-1/4″ and 6-1/2″
• Whimsy & Wonder DSP, various prints: (4) 4″x 3″, and (1) 4″x 2″ and (1) 4″x 1/2″
• Basic White Cardstock: 4″x 3″
• scraps of Basic White to stamp holly, tag, and Noel
• Soft Succulent 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon
• Wonderful Snowflakes
• Happy Holly-Days Stamp Set
• Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set
• Polished Pink and Old Olive ink pads
• Old Olive and Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends
