Gathering Moments

It’s Thursday again, already! Time for another Create with Stamping Friends. And we have a fun sketch challenge this week. I’m using Gathering Moments with the fall foliage and the sentiment, “Thankful for you.”

The sentiment is a little hard to read in the photo with Copper Embossing Powder on Early Espresso, but it has a beautiful shine in person!

Here’s my recipe:

• Cajun Craze Cardstock
  • 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, folded at 4-1/4″ for the card base
  • 5-1/4″x 3-7/8″, cropped with Textured Notes Dies for the layer
• Splendid Autumn DSP
  • Two strips at 1″x 3-1/4″ (vertical)
  • One strip at 1-1/4″x 5-1/8″ (horizontal)
• Early Espresso Cardstock
  • 3″x 1/2″ for sentiment stamped with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with copper embossing powder
• Copper Metallic Foil
  • 2″x 2″ die cut with Branching Out Dies
• Very Vanilla Cardstock
  • 3″x 2″ for stamping leaves and acorn then die cut from Gathering Moments Bundle
• Linen Thread bow
• Three Metallic Gems (copper)

I used Dimensionals behind the mustard yellow strip of DSP, the right end of the Espresso Cardstock strip, and leaves. Glue Dots anchor the Copper Foil sprigs and the Linen Thread bow.
