Gather Together For A “Suite” Opportunity!

When we “gather together” and collaborate our ideas, we are so much more productive! And it’s so much more fun that way!

Recently I had the opportunity to travel East and get together with a few of my Stampin’ Besties. We always have such a great time together. This time, three of us put our heads together and came up with an idea that involves YOU!

I’ll tell you about our idea in a minute*. First I want to show you the card that I made for today’s post.

This is a card that is full of gratitude and is perfect for the Fall season. Most of the card comes from the suite called Come To Gather, and it can be found on pages 46 – 48 of the new Holiday Catalog. Today is THE DAY of the Holiday Catalog launch! Click here to see the PDF electronic copy.

Don’t you love that sentiment? It comes from Country Home and I think it pairs beautifully with the pumpkin stamps in the Gather Together Stamp Set. Gather Together is also bundled with the Gathered Leaves Dies. Buy them together and get a 10% discount.

My color combination of Pretty Peacock, Mint Macaron, and Whisper White was inspired by the fabulous Designer Series Paper, Come To Gather DSP.

I embellished with two wooden feather elements that also come in the suite. To “dress them up” a little, I traced the center lines with my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker. I attached them with Glue Dots and gave them a Linen Thread bow.

The 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Pretty Peacock is the perfect choice to cover the seam between the two DSPs.

On the inside, I stamped the pumpkins in Pretty Peacock (stamped off once for a lighter shade) and the dotty image with Mint Macaron, also stamped off once. The sentiment from Gather Together is full-strength Pretty Peacock.
