It’s our last Create post for 2023! That is so hard to believe! We have a color challenge this week and I could have gone Christmas thank you with these colors. But no, I have a very Spring-like card today. Go figure. The Pecan Pie/Cherry Cobbler/Old Olive took me to Garden Meadow, and once I got started…there was no going back, lol! Here’s our color challenge:

If you don’t recognize this set, it’s because it isn’t in a catalog. This set, Garden Meadow, with its matching dies are in the Online Exclusives section.
It also has a 6″x 6″ pack of DSP, a coordinating spool of ribbon, and some brass embellishments. The embellishments are not available at the moment. When they return, you can purchase the whole suite collection if you’d like. See it all HERE.
Card Measurements:
- Thick Basic White base, 11″x 4-1/4″, folded at 5-1/2″
- Joy of Christmas DSP, 5-1/4″x 4″
- Basic White Cardstock, 4-1/2″x 3-1/4″
Stamp & Crop:
- On a piece of Basic White, stamp images with Memento Tuxedo Black. Crop with coordinating dies.

- Wheelbarrow ~ Color with Gray Granite, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, and Old Olive Blends.
- Fence ~ Color with Pecan Pie Blends.
- Plants ~ Color with Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Blends.
- Stamp “ground” on the background with Pecan Pie. Lightly brush Balmy Blue in the sky area with a Blending Brush. Do the same with Pecan Pie in the ground area.
Sentiment:
- Stamp with black ink onto white cardstock. Crop with a “Something Fancy” die. Attach with Mini Dimensionals.
Putting It Together:
- Glue the Cherry Cobbler background to the base.
- Glue the stamped rectangle to the center of the DSP.
- Glue the fence, large flower clump and small flower clump (right side) to the background.
- Add the wheelbarrow and left side flower clump with Dimensionals.
