Fruit Stand Thank You Notes (post #2)

Yesterday I shared two of the cards I made in this 6-pack of thank you notes that I will be giving my daughter-in-law.  These are all made with the Fruit Stand DSP, which couldn’t be more perfect for notes to thank someone for a gift of a meal.  See my first two cards here.

Today’s cards will be using the bolder prints in the pack.  This first one has the strawberries, layered with Real Red, and sitting on an embossed piece of Cucumber Crush.

Layering Squares Framelit Dies are a great shape for this Thank You sentiment from One Big Meaning.  I used an embossing folder that I picked up at Michael’s eons ago.  I think Petal Burst would be a good option for this card.

I glued more strawberries to the back flap of the envelope.  Because these Notecards and Envelopes are a little smaller ( 5″ x 3 1/2″) you only need a 2″ x 5″ strip for the envelope.  I think it makes the card set seem extra special!
My next card is almost as bright.  I love this paper!  Because it has a white background, I backed it with a piece of Early Espresso – to pull out the color from the flower centers.  I added a bit of Espresso ribbon and a candy dot as well.  Although these items are retired, you may still have some in your stash.
This sentiment, stamped with Early Espresso, is found in Rose Wonder.  I snipped around the Espresso border and backed it with Peek-a-boo Peach.  Then I cropped it out with a Rose Garden Thinlits Die.

The envelope is wearing the reverse side of the peach paper.

I will show you my last two cards in this set tomorrow.  I hope you will stop back in again to see them.  Are you ready to order some of this luscious paper yet?  I like it so much, I’m going to be ordering another pack!  Get yours here!

If you haven’t ordered Thoughtful Branches yet, you still have time!  This awesome stamp set/thinlits/bundle option is available through the end of August.  Don’t miss it ~ it’s gorgeous! See the bundle here.  The stamp set alone can be seen here.  The Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies alone can be seen here.  Samples from my blog ~

Now go have fun stamping!
