Today’s card is fast and fun ~ you can make several in no time and be ready for a relaxing weekend!
It’s all about the colors and layering on this card. The Happy Birthday Thinlits in Tranquil Tide really pop against the pale Soft Sea Foam. Both colors, along with white, are in the Designer Series Paper called Tranquil Textures. I absolutely love this pack of papers for the colors, the textures, and the versatility.
It couldn’t be easier. If you have a Big Shot or other die cutting machine, you’re in business! The card base is Tranquil Tide, 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″. Next layer is Soft Sea Foam at 5-1/4″ x 4″. Then the DSP at 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″. The oval is the largest of the Layering Ovals Framelits. Glue the Happy Birthday to the oval, taking care not to glue the parts that don’t touch the oval, then adhere the oval to the card with Dimensionals.
Add a piece of Whisper White to the inside and write your message – or stamp one! Unless you stamp on the inside, this is a no-ink card! I don’t make very many of those!
