Framed Florets Birthday

By now you’ve probably heard all about the Fitted Florets Collection of products that became available on November 1st. It is a beautiful collection of frames and florals (appropriately so!) Here is a new card that I made in just a few minutes. Some of you like quick and simple cards, and this one fits the bill!

It’s super easy with the Framed Florets Dies. One die cuts the oval-shaped hearts “frame.” Another die cuts the floral piece out from the DSP. A little glue, one bright stamp, and you’re done!

Here’s a close look at the die that cuts out the DSP:

Directions:
  • Cut a card base from Soft Succulent Cardstock, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4.”
  • Cut a Polished Pink layer at 5-1/8″x 3-7/8.”
  • With a piece of Basic White Cardstock, 5″x 3-3/4″, crop the oval-shaped hearts frame right in the middle of the cardstock. Keep all of the tiny hearts for confetti on another card!
  • Glue the pink and white pieces together, then glue them to the Soft Succulent base.
  • Stamp your sentiment in the center of the oval using Polished Pink ink.
  • Crop out the floral spray using the coordinating die, then with Dimensionals, adhere it to the bottom of the oval.
  • Add three Soft Succulent Opal Rounds.
