Framed & Festive

This is a quick and easy card to make with the Framed & Festive Stamp Set. It went together in minutes, but with that detailed frame, it looks much more complicated! I love this paper (I know I’ve said that before, but I really do!) It is Fitting Florets Designer Series Paper and is only available for a short time. Scroll down for details.

This paper isn’t necessarily Christmas paper, but the berries give it a holiday feel! I’ve seen some stampers color the berries red, which is really pretty, but I chose to leave them white on this card.

The frame is made with one die but it creates two pieces, so the center pops out. It’s a brilliant design. You can make them two parts different colors as I did here, by cutting two frames.

Details and Measurements:

• Evening Evergreen Cardstock base, 8-1/2″x 5-1/2″, scored and folded at 4-1/4″
• Fitting Florets DSP, 5-1/2″x 4-1/4″
• Two pieces for frame: one with DSP and one with Basic White, 5″x 3-3/4″
• Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon
• Opal Rounds

I stamped the sentiment from Framed & Festive in Evening Evergreen, glued the two parts of the frame down to the card front, and added my ribbon bow and Opal Rounds. So simple!
