Today’s card highlights the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper and a favorite sentiment of mine from Forever Fern. I added a poppy from Painted Poppies. So I’ve titled this post Forever Greenery with a Poppy! Here’s my card.
It’s a simple design with a pop of color that I love!
My cardstock colors are Garden Green (8-1/2″x 5-1/2″), Soft Sea Foam (5″x 3-3/4″), and Very Vanilla (cropped with a Stitched Rectangle). I’ve also added a faux bow with the Forever Greenery ribbon and a Purple Posy Butterfly Gem.
I stamped the Painted Poppy stamp with markers – Garden Green and Gorgeous Grape – and stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. Then I pulled the color from the markers through the open spaces with a Blender Pen. I snipped it out with my Paper Snips and attached it with a bit of glue and a Dimensional behind the flower. Then I added Dimensionals to the back of my sentiment rectangle and attached it over the ribbon and flower.
I really like the visual texture this fern paper creates. I think the artists that created this year’s DSP did an excellent job on these designs! Here is another card that I created with Forever Greenery.

Gorgeous! I already loved that paper so I was happy to another card using it. I was slow to get on the Poppy bandwagon. So, now seeing all the fun colors of them has made me happy I finally ordered the stamp set. So, I just love your card!
