This is a quick and simple card to make. And you only need a few supplies! Begin with a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock. Score it at 4-1/4″ and fold at the top. Add a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Silver Foil. BUT FIRST cut out the Stitched Oval from the middle of the Foil Sheet (it will be hidden under the DSP so why not make the most of your paper?!) The beautiful photographic designer series paper gets glued to the top of the foil. It measures 5″ x 3-3/4″.
Stamp the sentiment in Berry Burst onto white cardstock and cut it out with an oval framelit. Glue that to the top of your Silver Foil oval and pop the two up with Dimensionals and place them in the center of the card front.
Stamp the bow image with Berry Burst and the shadow image with black ink. Cut it out with Paper Snips and glue to the lower left corner. I propped the lower left edge up with another Dimensional. Stamp the candle image in Pool Party and cut out. Stamp the flame in Daffodil Delight and cut out. Glue the two pieces down and sparkle up the flame with Wink of Stella, if you wish.
Inside, I stamped another one of the sentiments in Berry Burst, and added 2 leftover strips of the DSP on either side. Now where’s the birthday cake….?
